The Causes
100% of the proceeds will benefit The Antero Foundation which supports nonprofits such as Mountaineer Food Bank, WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital, Children’s Home Society of WV, United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), and many more local charitable organizations. We encourage you to click the logos below to learn more about these organizations doing amazing work in our communities.
Mountaineer Food Bank & Local Food Pantries
The Antero Foundation is proudly partnered with Mountaineer Food Bank, which supports families in need in West Virginia where Antero Resources and Antero Midstream operate. Mountaineer Food Bank is involved in organizing soup kitchens, backpack programs, mobile food pantries, senior programs and shelters in WV communities. As the state’s largest emergency food provider, Mountaineer Food Bank supplies 20.7 million pounds of food annually in collaboration with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture.
WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital
The Antero Foundation is a proud partner of WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital, whose mission is building healthier futures for our children. In 2022, The Foundation awarded a $100,000 grant to the hospital to support top-notch care for expectant mothers and sick children in the Mountain State. The new, nine-story, 150-bed state-of-the-art facility aims to ensure every family in West Virginia can get the critical care their child needs close to home. A daily living and rehab room and two nurses’ stations— one in the NICU and one in the Birthing Center - are named in recognition of The Antero Foundation’s gift.
Children’s Home Society of West Virginia
The Antero Foundation is a longstanding partner of the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia, which has provided pivotal services to West Virginia’s most vulnerable children since 1896. Every year, they offer child welfare, social casework, and advocacy services, including foster care and adoption, to 14,000+ children and families from 13 primary locations statewide. The Society’s aim is to help build a future where, ultimately, their services are no longer needed: where every child has a
safe and permanent home, a family to love them, and opportunities to thrive.
United Way of Harrison & Doddridge Counties
The Antero Foundation is a loyal friend of United Way, whose mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities in Harrison and Doddridge Counties to advance the common good. United Way fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community in Harrison and Doddridge County. Their goal is to fund the most effective and efficient agencies/programs that positively impact these three pillars of focus which are aligned with the Foundation’s beliefs as well.
Harrison county casa program
The Antero Foundation works alongside the Harrison County CASA Program, which supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect. The vision of CASA is to create and strengthen communities where family stability is essential and every child in need is supported. CASA believes that every child should be given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.
